In the aftermath of the devastating events in Japan, many are wondering how they can help.

Here are some organizations that are providing assistance:

- The American Red Cross you can donate online or by texting REDCROSS to 90999 from your phone.

- Convoy of Hope's Disaster Response team established connection with in-country partners who have been impacted by the damage and are identifying the needs and areas where Convoy of Hope may be of the greatest assistance. You can donate online at Convoy of Hope or text TSUNAMI to 50555 to donate $10 to Convoy of Hope's Disaster Response efforts.

- Global Giving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund is raising funds to distribute to various efforts in the region.

- The International Medical Corps is responding to the medical needs of those in effected areas.
